After School Programs

After School Programs

Arts Bus ArtWelcome to the OSSD After School Program!

The After School Program has a simple mission: keeping kids safe, inspiring them to learn, and giving parents peace of mind.

We strive to help children learn, grow, and reach their full potential, with new learning opportunities that help them do better in school and in life. Offering a safe space to extend the academic, social, and emotional growth that occurs during the school day, students participate in engaging structured activities, collaborative learning opportunities, and most important: play.

Included in the many activities enjoyed by students in the program are art and exploration projects sponsored by the Arts Bus. The Arts Bus comes to the Braintree program on Wednesdays, and the Brookfield program on Thursdays.

Meet our Extended Learning Coordinator, Maddie HoldbrooksPicture of Maddie Holdbrooks

Hi I’m Maddie Holdbrooks, the extended learning coordinator here at OSSD. I recently moved here from Auburn, AL where I graduated from Auburn University with a B.S. in Global Studies in Human Sciences, along with two minors in Human Development and Family Science and Women’s Studies.

I grew up near Birmingham, AL, where I started to develop my passion for advocating for others to make the world a more equal place for all! My vision for After-School and Summer Programs is to develop enriching activities for  children to develop academic, social and emotional growth. In my free time I enjoy cooking, painting, and playing with my puppy Minnie!
